Would you be surprised to find out that Oprah and Deepak Chopra have teamed up to host a 21-Day meditation challenge?
Probably not…Â But it is going on now (actually since March 11), and it is not too late to register if you would like to participate! Go here to register.
Every day they are leading people in meditation and journaling in order to “embrace the vision of
your best self.”
I’m in – I just signed up – you may want to as well.
Oprah did a brief interview with Deepak where they talked about aging. So many are fearful of aging in this country, going to extremes with plastic surgery and Botox until their face barely moves (and when it does, it ain’t pretty!)
You can do several things to reduce your biological age, he told Oprah. Results can be measured via blood pressure, bone density, immune function, to mention a few.
Of the points that he raised, there were two points that really stood out for me:
1. Perception is very powerful, so think of your body not as a lump of flesh but as an energy field, and notice your energy. The more you can feel that it is high, the better. You can get there by getting enough rest, meditation, etc.
2. Change your relationship with time – stop being in such a big rush all the time, that will just speed up your biological clock (and keep you stressed out!).
If you approach life from a place where there is plenty of time to do everything you want and need to do, your blood pressure normalizes your hear rate decreases.

Did you notice that meditation was something that can impact your energy and therefore your biological age too, so if you haven’t already, you may just want to get started now!
