Rearrange Your Rooms, Improve Your Relationships

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese art that deals with placement of buildings or items within the buildings in a way that will facilitate the flow of Qi (Ch’i).

It has become very popular in recent years, and there are many different forms being practiced. One of the more popular forms in the United States is called Black Sect (sometimes people refer to it as Black Hat), where the orientation is based on the location of the entrance  into your home or room.

The theory is that health, money and love can come easier to you when the energy can flow harmoniously.

So what can you do to enhance your love, or relationship, energy?

You need to focus on the Relationship Area of your home.

As you stand at your front door the farthest corner to the right on all floors is the most powerful place to concentrate.

The same map can be superimposed over each room to find the right corners in those rooms, too.

Dailytransformations.com gives us some tips for following good Feng Shui principles to be sure the stuff that we have in those corners is the “right stuff.”

Feng Shui for Relationships

1. Think in pairs. You don’t want to have 1 or 3 candles, you want an even number of items.

2. Be sure if you have plants in that space that they are healthy, and again it is best to have even numbers of plants, not odd.  A vase of flowers? Put 2 stems in the vase.

3. Photo’s of the two of you (but not of your family), or artwork with a love theme are excellent.

4. Clutter, business or self-help books, any item that isn’t fully functioning need to be cleared out of that area.

5. Color is important too – think warm colors but not in excess (think sizzle as opposed to burn out!).

6. TV’s don’t belong in the bedroom:) Regardless of what corner they may be located…
