Clearing Clutter For Clarity (And Less Stress!)

Most of us have more clutter than we would like, but did you know that having TOO MUCH clutter can increase your stress levels?  All of that chaos around you can keep you from relaxing!  Clearing clutter from your home can give you an oasis of tranquility in a sea of life stresses.

You can do this gradually so that the clearing process doesn’t add to the stress! Set aside 15 minutes or so to de-clutter every evening and you will soon find yourself in a much different environment!  Or just tackle a room at a time, you will be done before you know it.

I spent some time reorganizing my refrigerator recently, after a visit to my parent’s home made me see the direction that I was heading!  I went to my local Wal-Mart store and bought different sizes of plastic bins, then took everything out of my fridge and cleaned it…. Took some time!  But it was well worth it, and things are SO much easier to find now.

I went online and ordered several for my Mom too, and told her what I had done with my refrigerator – and she said that was one of the best presents ever!  My Dad really likes it too, since now HE can actually find things there as well!  For the first time in over 60 years…

There are other ways to make your home space more relaxing too, by changing colors, sounds, and smells.  Experiment with aromatherapy to find aromas that you find pleasing and relaxing.  Play music that makes you feel good.
